Element 115 Rocks with Alien Drummer Created in Poser
The first US rock star created in Poser has arrived! “AL” the alien drummer can be seen rocking clubs and festivals in the southwestern US as a member of Phoenix based classic rock band Element 115. Based on the Poser Alien figure and animated in Poser on a Mac G-5 with his own custom 3D double-kick drumset, AL is a beer-drinking, drumstick twirling rock drummer who is simply out of this world!

GrapeVine Uses Poser for Smallville Sprint Mobile Promotion
GrapeVine Productions used Poser to tell the tale of the origin of the comic book icon Green Arrow, with a “Smallville” twist! This Warner Bros. Television Group, The CW, and Sprint initiative marks the first time original animated content has been created for "Smallville” as a marketing extension of the hit show. The campaign was a huge success, ranking as TV Guide’s #1 Hot Download in February.

Scott is widely regarded as one of the leading innovators of contemporary digital production. He and his team at Pixelworks have used Poser extensively in their projects. Scott shared some stories with e frontier on the work he has created with Poser.

Liam Lynch - Musician, Writer, Director, Lynchland Creator
Liam has completed many projects with Poser and has also utilized Poser as a visualization tool during preproduction. He used Poser to experiment quickly and cheaply with shot ideas before going into storyboarding while working out sequences for "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny" as well as "Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic". Liam has also used Poser in many final products, including music videos for Queens of the Stone Age, music videos and short films with Tenacious D, Eagles of Death Metal, and even music videos for himself and his video podcast "Lynchland".

RedMonkey Pictures Gets Crunk with Poser!
RedMonkey Pictures recently finished their “Crunk Wars” short for the Anger Management Tour which featured Eminem, 50 Cent and Lil' John. Lil' John commissioned Red Monkey Pictures to create a short video for the opening of the show and the Lil' Jon set. We talked with Executive Producer, John Troxtel at the SIGGRAPH trade show where he just happened to be doing presentations in the e frontier booth.

Noggin and Mitchell Rose
Filmmaker Mitchell Rose was hired by kids cable channel Noggin (a collaboration of Sesame Workshop and Nickelodeon) to create a 30 second station ID bumper. Noggin always seeks fresh, fun imagery and so Mitchell decided to turn to Poser. "Poser was the perfect tool for this job," Mitchell says. "It's fast to learn and use and does a terrific job."

Elevator World and Mitchell Rose
Called "A computer masterpiece" by The CBS Evening News (national), "Elevator World" is distributed by Atom Films and has been playing as a short in front of features for Regal Cinemas, the nation's largest theater chain.

The Adventures of Montu miah, a 3D cartoon for TV by SoftEdge Limited
"The Adventures of Montu miah" a 3D cartoon production produced by Softedge Ltd. This Animation company in Bangladesh has recently finished 13 episodes out of 49 and still producing the rest of the episodes, and on the way to create a history because it’s the first 3D animated cartoon serial in whole Indian sub continent. The target was to produce 22 minutes of each episode with in 30 working days. To meet the "tight timeline challenge" we used Poser4 very extensively. Poser has been our magic tool for rapid production. After the first on air the cartoon got many news reviews and draw special attention both in Bangladesh and abroad. "The Adventures of Montu miah" is on air via satellite and terrestrial every month

The Chris Rock Show
Todd Rutt, from HBO's "The Chris Rock Show"' was interested in using Poser 4 to produce background graphics for a performance on the upcoming show. The artists needing the background imagery were hip-hop legends De La Soul.

Same Difference, a film by Gregory Katsoulis
Greg Katsoulis has recently completed his first animated short, Same Difference, rendered and animated primarily in Poser. Curious Labs ran a story on Greg in the Lab Report last year. Since then Greg has worked solely on promoting his film and submitting it to various festivals and studios across the country.

Poser used in pre-visualization for action film, "The One"
In the heart-pounding fight scenes in the action film “The One,” character Jet Li stops bullets, transcends time and gravity, and gives himself a real thrashing. But before Jet was on the set performing action-packed moves, he existed in the alternate universe of David Allen’s Macintosh as a 3D animation.
